You know what you want to say.
Let's make sure your audience gets the message.
You know what you want to say.
Let's make sure your audience gets the message.
“Is the audience going to understand this?”
“How can I make this better?”
If these are the questions you are asking (and you should be!), then probably I can help.
You have the raw materials and the vision.
I help articulate your message as clearly and compellingly as possible.
What I Do —
Authors and presenters usually know what they intend to say, but often struggle to present it in such a way that ensures their message has impact.
This is where I come in.
I help authors, presenters, webinar makers, and slide creators get the highest possible engagement from their audiences. I do this by leveraging logic, vocabulary, and principles of learning and memory to ensure their intended message is clear, understandable, and memorable.

Presentations
Making a compelling case to an audience, especially if it involves visual aids like PowerPoint or Keynote, requires knowledge of mechanics that most of us were not trained in and do not know how to use. The best performers always have coaches.
-
Developmental Editing
This is when you have something you are working on—a non-fiction book, for example, or an essay—and you need more than just correction of your grammar and usage. You need guidance as to where to go next, what to do instead, what more to include, how to keep the tone consistent.

Ghostwriting
Maybe you have a bunch of notes, or just a bunch of ideas, for something you would like to write. Maybe you wrote it and need to have it done over. You need someone to do the writing, so you can get on with the part you need to do.
About David
I am a Literature major with a career in software and information systems. Go figure. The IT world is awash in corporate presentations or all kinds, not many of which are bearable, let alone good. Exposure to this dismal state of affairs made me want to understand what really makes a presentation work, and what doesn’t. Turns out knowing how the mind of an audience works is the key to creating content that works for an audience. It also helps to know the exact meaning of words, and to be able to explain why you would want to do something this way instead of that way. Creators appreciate that.
Let’s Work Together
If you have a draft, a completed work, or just the beginnings an idea—let’s talk about what you think you might need right now.
